Swing both aside for guests, or spin them to share the screen.
We love our heavy-duty Single with Crossbar. It solves a different problem. In a private office with guest chairs across the desk, a pair of fixed monitors blocks the conversation. On the crossbar both screens ride one arm: move them aside when guests sit down, or spin them around to share your screen.
Made for the private office
We teach that you should sit square to your monitors to avoid the twisting and reaching that corner-mounted screens induce. But with a pair of monitors on the desk, how do you see the people in the guest chairs, or share your screen with them? Find the spot where you want the monitors most of the time, extend the arm toward the wall to set the clamp, and you are set. The wire handle makes moving the pair easy.
Word to the wise: the crossbar works best with identical monitors, because VESA plate heights vary between models.
Easiest installation possible
- Clamp or bolt-through mounting: back edge, grommet, or a bolt-through post through a grommet or a smaller drilled hole.
- The 1.75 in clamp fits virtually any desk grommet, with rubber bumpers that keep it from marking the desk.
- Both mounting options tighten from the top. Nobody lies on their back under the desk.
- Quick-Connect 75 mm or 100 mm VESA plates, so one person can install it.
Monitor capacity
- 17 to 27 in screens, two matched, or one oversized or ultrawide display
- 2.2 to 13.2 lb per screen, up to 26 lb total
Movement
- Tilt, angle, landscape or portrait
- 360° rotation
- 12 in height range
- Wire handle to ease movement
Wire management
Monitor cords run through wire channels in both the upper and lower arm segments.
Built to last is the first kind of sustainable
An Align arm is mostly aluminum and steel. Across the Align series, 45–48% of every unit is already recycled material, and at end of life everything but the small rubber foot is recyclable.
