Our Align Duo solves a problem others ignore. Almost every dual arm pushes two monitors out to the middle of the desk to get them side by side, far too close to read. The Duo is the only arm that ships standard with two AlignSlide rails, so the screens slide together where they belong: about an arm's length away.

The geometry problem

You want your monitors to come together, and you want them to stay an arm's length away for visual comfort. If the arm is clamped to the back edge of a 30 in desk against a wall or panel, almost every dual arm on the market pushes the monitors out to the middle of the desk, around 18 in from you. On a 24 in deep desk the problem is worse.

We solved it. The AlignSlide rails let you set the arms parallel or close to the wall, adjust the height, and slide each monitor inward to line up where you want it. Use one slide or both. It is not quite a magic trick, but it will feel like one.

We recommend the Duo primarily where the screens sit squarely in front of you and do not need to move often. It works in corner orientations too, especially on a grommet mount.

Easiest installation possible

  • Clamp or bolt-through mounting. To hold the weight securely, the Duo clamp is 3 in wide. Use it on the back edge with the rubber bumpers, or bolt through a grommet hole.
  • Both mounting options tighten from the top. Nobody lies on their back under the desk.
  • Quick-Connect 75 mm or 100 mm VESA plates, so one person can install it.

Monitor capacity

  • 17 to 32 in screens, each
  • 4.5 to 19.8 lb, each

Movement

  • Tilt, angle, landscape or portrait
  • 360° rotation
  • 12 in height range

Wire management

Monitor cords run through wire channels in both the upper and lower arm segments.

Built to last is the first kind of sustainable

An Align arm is mostly aluminum and steel. Across the Align series, 45–48% of every unit is already recycled material, and at end of life everything but the small rubber foot is recyclable.

Questions,
answered.

Why do the sliders matter?
Running two monitors on a desk tight to a wall, the sliders nudge the screens together side-to-side instead of pulling them forward into your face and too close to read. Your screens belong about an arm's length away. Sliders are how you keep them there.
Will it clamp to my desk?
The 3 in clamp works on a flat, accessible edge and fits tops 0.4–2.0 in thick. Glass tops, lips and aprons call for the grommet or bolt-through mount instead.
Two screens: Duo or Crossbar?
Two arms with sliders handle mismatched screens and let you nudge each one side-to-side. Both screens on one crossbar move as one, which is clean, and only works if your two monitors are the exact same model.
Can it go in a corner?
Yes, especially on a grommet mount. It is at its best, though, where the screens sit squarely in front of you and do not need to move often.
What is the sustainability story?
45–48% of every Align arm is recycled aluminum and steel, counted honestly across pre-consumer and post-consumer content. At end of life, everything but the small rubber foot is recyclable.
